All About Dermal Fillers
Q: What is a Dermal Fill?
Hyaluronic acid is a powerful moisturising agent, the quantity of which in the dermis gradually decreases with age. As a result, the skin dries out and becomes fragile, and the first wrinkles appear. The tissues progressively sag and the face becomes hollow.
Injected into the dermis, the filler effectively alleviates this hyaluronic acid deficiency thanks to its high hyaluronic acid concentration.
Q: What products do you use?
Our product range include:
Q: How long will the treatment last?
The procedure takes just 20-30 minutes and lasts up to a year.
Q: Will the treatment hurt?
The injections can be a little painful, but for the more sensitive, a Topical Anaesthetic (cream) can be applied to numb the area or even a Dental Anaesthetic (injection) can be used to help more.
Q: What parts of the face are fillers used on?
Dermal fillers are rarely used around the eyes. The common uses are for smokers lines and creases, lines from nose to corners of the mouth (marionettes) and lip enhancement to define thin lips or to add volume for a greater pouting effect.
